Refma are spirits of the High Elves trapped into wandering ghosts and set around Melanat Island to protect the treasures that once belonged to their now nearly extinct race. They are difficult to attack as they fly through the air quickly and awkwardly. Their attacks absorb large amounts of magic from the player leaving them without the ability to cast spells.
Other information
Refma protect the area of King's Field II that houses the High Elf Key, there is one Refma in particular that is red in color that will speak to the player saying "The cursed man, I will show you our great pain". This Refma drops the Seath's Helmet.
Refma often drop Seath's Plume which restore much of the magic they usually take from the player during battle and Bloodstone.
