Necron, formerly known as "Dias Bagil", is one of the main antagonists introduced in King's Field 2Necron makes his first appearance in the series claiming to be the 'savior king', a mysterious inhabitant that controls and rules the Island of MelanatFrom his collosseum in the depths of the island, he has served the dragon demi-god, Guyra, and obtained powers that allow him to control the undead and envelope the island in darkness.
Nola, a resident of Melanat Island, is the sister of main antagonist Necron in [[King's Field II]She travelled to the island with her brother and good friend Fai Fadlin upon the insistence of her brother that something there would give him the power to become the ultimate fighterShortly after she moved to the island she lost contact with her brother and tried unsuccessfully to locate him and encourage him to move home.

During the course of gameplay in King's Field 2, the player is able to ascertain some history about Dias Bagil before he became Necron.  Through dialog with Dias's sister, Nola, his best friend, Fai Fadlin, and several townsfolk throughout the island, you learn that Dias came to the island with his sister to challenge the island's power and prove he was the strongest warriorDias was able to overcome the elemental guardians and traps laid by Thedeck and King Harvine, infiltrate the deepest parts of the island and discover the sources of the dark elves' powerIn doing so he eventually came into contact with the dormant dragon, Guyra, and was able to obtain an ultimate dark power in exchange for his servitude.
It is speculated that Nola and Fai Fadlin had planned to leave the island, as they were both collecting the special magical flasks that could contain the magical water needed to survive once poisoned by the island.  In King's Field III, a corpse lies in a cave off the northern shore of the main continent that when inspected reads "The body of Nora"The corpse is found near a crashed small boat amidst several crystal flasks, it is widely accepted by fans that this is indeed the body of Nola Bagil and the triggered description is merely a spelling error in her name as often in translation l's and r's are backwards.

Necron's newfound powers included the ability to raise and control the dead, allowing him to build an army of former Verdite soldiers which he uses to guard his islandHe was also able to harness the ability of darkness, enveloping the island in fog, a magical power he used to bargain with the inhabitants of the island, giving them glimpses of daylight in exchange for their loyalty.
Other appearances
Nola is a primary source of information in the fan made prequel: King's Field: Dark Destiny.  In the game's interactions, Nola explains that they fled to the island to escape the punishment that was to befall her brother Dias after his treason against the kingShe and Fai are half-heartedly attempting to help Dias hide from the would-be royal captors until such a point comes that he can find a power strong enough on the island to defend himself.

After becoming Necron and quickly taking a turn into madness, Dias goes to the mainland to take the holy sword of moonlight from its safe chambers within the halls of castle Verdite.  He is able to obtain the sword and escape, leaving only a challenge to king Jean Alfred Forester to come to Melanat and fight him to regain his sword and end the onslaught of evil creatures that would soon be plaguing Verdite.
It is documented in the series that she is well liked by the other townsfolk and several people in the town, including shopkeeper Al Hunt who has taken a special liking to her and would go out of his way to make sure she stays safe.

Role in series
Necron was the primary antagonist of King's Field 2 and was defeated by Alexander Thornton Regginis near the end of the game's plot which allowed Alexander access to reach Guyra, who was truly controlling the island.  Necron's presence on the island greatly affected the day to day life of the inhabitants and particularly those who worked in the mines scattered within the depths of Melanat.

The darkness that enveloped Melanat Island that also caused its inhabitant to be poisoned was directly controlled by Necron.  With the poison requiring a liquid antidote only found on the island, he was able to force all the inhabitants to stay on the island.

In the fan made game, King's Field: Dark Destiny, more history about Necron is unveiled to the player, giving you full control over the story that follows Dias Bagil's initial journey to the center of the island.  During gameplay you are able to meet up with the spirit of Jonas Bagil, Dias's father, and learn that you a special demon's blood within your veins that allow you to master dark magic.  Shortly after the reunion with his father's ghost, Dias is able to break into the collosseum and defeat Kal Fargus, the magus of ice and master of the island.  Once doing so he frees the contained conciousness of Guyra who gives him the power to go steal the moonlight sword from Verdite Castle, thus finishing the story of the game and leading the player into the beginning of the King's Field 2 storyline.
